The St. Lucie Record is an independent publication dedicated to researching, preserving, and sharing the history of St. Lucie County, Florida. We publish original, well-sourced articles on the native peoples, settlers, communities, landscapes, and events that have shaped this county since the earliest human inhabitants fished the Indian River Lagoon thousands of years ago.
We welcome hearing from readers, researchers, local historians, genealogists, and anyone with a connection to St. Lucie County history.
